Dairy-free moon milk has been used by Ayurvedic practices as a sleep aid for centuries. Our version includes tart cherry juice, which is a natural source of melatonin and tryptophan.

Sleepy Time Pink Moon Milk

Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup non-dairy milk (cashew, coconut, oat or almond)
  • ¼ cup tart cherry juie (no added sugar)
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup, agave syrup or honey
  • 1 dash vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch ground cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp ashwagandha powder
  • dried culinary rose petals for garnish

Instructions
 

  • In a small pot, heat the non-dairy milk, cherry juice, sweetener and vanilla extract over low heat until just before simmering.
  • Remove from heat, and whisk in the cinnamon and ashwagandha powder.
  • Top with rose petals and enjoy while warm.
